New Frontiers is the nationalentrepreneurial development programme for ambitious early-stage entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas which have the potential to scale and provide employment. It provides the skills, support, and confidence needed to make the leap to starting a successful business.
New Frontiers is a nationwide Enterprise Ireland programme, co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund under the national Structural and Investment Funds Programmes 2014-2020.
New Frontiers is delivered in the Midlands Mid-East region by Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) in partnership with Maynooth University (MU).
Please note that the New Frontiers programme is primarily for early-stage entrepreneurs with little or no experience in starting a business. It should also be noted that past funding (public or private) received for this or any other project, may affect the participant's eligibility to receive the stipend. If the promoter is a shareholder in another business that has received funding, this may also affect receipt of the stipend. Please refer to www.newfrontiers.ie/about for more information on ineligible business concepts.
