New Frontiers is the national entrepreneurial development programme for ambitious early-stage entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas which have the potential to scale and provide employment. It provides the skills, support, and confidence needed to make the leap to starting a successful business.
New Frontiers is a nationwide Enterprise Ireland programme, co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund under the national Structural and Investment Funds Programmes 2014-2020.
New Frontiers is delivered in the Midlands Mid-East region by Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) in partnership with Maynooth University (MU).

Note (1): The New Frontiers programme is primarily for early-stage entrepreneurs with little or no experience in starting a business.
Note (2): It should be noted that funding, (public or private), including LEO (Local Enterprise Office) Priming or Business Expansion Grants, received by the applicant or their co-founders for this or any other business idea, will impact the applicant's eligibility to participate on the programme and/or receive the stipend. If the promoter is a shareholder in another business that has received funding, this may also affect receipt of the stipend.
Note (3): Failure to disclose any funding received or applied for at time of application may result in suspension of future stipend payments.
Note (4): It is not a requirement that you register your business prior to joining New Frontiers.
